Informing the publishers Taylor and Walton that he holds the copyright of his Life of Schiller and that they only had the right to publish one "revised and enlarged edition"; stating his objections "to the scheme of republishing the Life of Schiller as indeed I should to any scheme of reprinting the work without fit corrections, or with my name upon it perhaps even then."
